Performance Warning Signs

Performance Warning Signs | Wednesday

Performance warning signs can be the factor between achieving quarterly goals or losing profits. Read the following questions to gauge where you and your business stand.

Q1: MANAGERS AND EMPLOYEES: Your leaders are smarter than AI. (TRUE OR FALSE)

Q2: What does a tire pressure warning, a stuffed dishwasher and workforce performance all have in common?

Q1: Answer: TRUE. Leaders are smarter than AI, when they strategically plan, implement sustainable workforce performance maintenance programs, listen, and heed warnings signs!

Q2: Answer: The low tire pressure gauge provides a warning. The tire is not running efficiently and without attention can damage some car mechanics and can be potentially hazardous and costly to fix. Similarly, overloading a dishwasher will make the sink empty, however will not provide proper water flow for a proper clean. Now, think about your company’s workforce performance behaviors. We sometimes ignore the warning light until it’s too late and over stuff the dishwasher to save time, but in all cases, we need to make time for each. It’s imperative to NEVER ignore performance warning signs!

The Challenge: What can YOU do today to increase workforce innovation, morale, and business profits? What plan will you implement to make sure you won’t miss any performance warning signs?
